Auctions
artradie now offers auctions!
Art sellers can create auctions with a starting price, bid increments, and a set duration, while buyers can place bids in real time.
The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins and completes the purchase.
How Do Auctions Work on artradie?
For Art Sellers:
1. Go to Your Dashboard → Auctions →Add New Auction Product.
2. Set the starting price, bid increment, reserve price (optional), and auction duration.
3. Upload product images and details.
4. Make sure to set the category to Auction for your product to be showcased in our Auctions category.
5. Click Save Product. Your auction product will now appear in your shop.
6. Packaging and postage needs to be negotiated or the artist covers cost.
For Art Buyers:
1. Register on our website as a buyer by going to Login/Register
2. Browse the artradie website to find an artwork being auctioned.
3. Once registered, click Place a bid and enter your bid amount. The system will notify you if you are outbid.
4. If you win, you’ll get an email with payment instructions.
5. Complete payment within the given time to finalize the purchase.
6. Negotiate packaging and postage with the Art Seller.
