An experienced painter, I returned to my practice after many years in academia, where my career followed a different path. This renewed engagement with painting has deepened my exploration of color as a language of emotion, form, and transformation—capturing the fleeting nature of memory, mood, and change.
Working in acrylic on canvas, I build my paintings over weeks, layering and blending colors directly on the canvas in an organic, immersive process. This results in atmospheric compositions—some radiating stillness and calm, others suggesting movement and transformation. Each work evolves over time, revealing itself in a way that mirrors the ever-changing nature of perception and emotion.
I am fascinated by how color and form interact as a painting unfolds—how an image seems to emerge on its own, as if in quiet conversation with emotion itself. My collectors often describe my work as meditative, thought-provoking, and deeply personal—an invitation to pause, reflect, and discover their own narratives within the abstract.
My most recent solo exhibition featuring ten new paintings was met with great success. My work is held in private collections, and I continue to explore how color and abstraction connect painter, painting, and viewer in a dynamic, ever-evolving experience.
