I’m an artist who loves to explore and work with various materials including metallic foil, and through innovation find fresh creative angles. Karaehe, or glass, has featured in much of my creative work over the past twenty years. I thrive on ‘contemporary art and ideas’ that feature Māori designs all anchored in kaupapa that resonate with me; I try to find the poetry in all my designs. I have two significant glass artworks located in Wynyard Quarter and West Auckland. Plus, my designs feature across the Housing, Health and Education sectors. I enjoyed 7 years in my Patiki Studio and in Dec 2023 moved closer into the West and have a cluster studio (which needs a tidy up) at Corban Estate Arts Centre.
